We understand and shape the interaction of business and technology for a sustainable development of society and environment.
Self-image
Research and teaching at the KIT-Department of Economics and Management are characterized by interdisciplinary networking and orientation to current challenges in business and society. We are the largest training center for industrial engineers in Germany. Beside the degree course in industrial engineering & management, we offer a degree course in Digital Economics, a degree course Information Systems in cooperation with the KIT- Department of Informatics, and the Master's degree course in Business Mathematics in cooperation with the KIT-Department of Mathematics.
The Department of Economics and Business Engineering currently consists of twelve institutes and chairs with around 30 professors.
